73, passed August 20th at home with his loving family by his side. He was husband of Margaret (Moffat) Chiaverini. They have been married for 47 years.
He was the son of the late William and Alice (Hamel) Chiaverini.
He had been employed as a driver by YCN Transportation for many years.
William was a Fairlawn Cardinals Football Coach and Fairlawn Little League Coach for many years. He was a member of the Marine Corp Reserves. William was a summer resident at Wordens Pond where he enjoyed fishing, kayaking and the many dear friends he acquired over the past 30 years.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, William E. Chiaverini Jr. and Jon M. Chiaverini, both of Pawtucket, a daughter, Gina M. Chiaverini of Warwick and five grandchildren, Allison, Cristin, Sara, Tara and Rhett.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Maria Goretti Church, 165 Power Rd, Pawtucket at 10am. Burial with Military Honors will be held in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Friday from 5 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to VNA of Care New England, 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI 02886.
