91, passed away Sunday. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Mc Quillen. Alice was born in Central Falls, RI, a daughter of the late Arthur and Olivine (Dupras) Monastesse. Alice resided at Mt. St. Rita Health Centre in Cumberland.
She lived and worked in Pawtucket and Central Falls before moving to Mt. St. Rita's three years ago. She was a faithful parishioner of the former Holy Trinity Church in Central Falls and the Church of St. John the Baptist in Pawtucket where she worked regularly in the food pantry. She leaves a daughter, Marie O'Neil and her husband Christopher O'Neil of Rumford, RI, three grandchildren: Matthew and Daniel O'Neil and Shannon Swist and her husband Keith Swist and two beloved great grandchildren, Molly and Sadie Swist.
She also leaves three siblings: Leo Monastesse of Pawtucket, Estelle Cloutier of Attleboro and Doris Monosh of East Providence, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Gerard Monastesse, Rita Mitchell, Norman Monastesse, Sister Dora Monastesse L.S.P. and Laurent Monastesse.
Funeral Arrangements are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to Mt. St. Rita Health Centre, 15 Sumner Brown Road, Cumberland, RI 02864 would be greatly appreciated.
