passed away peacefully October 2, 2012 at Kindred Care and Rehab Center in New London, CT. Carl was born February 17, 1929 son of the late Isabel (Egan) Pearson and Carl Pearson Sr. Raised in Pawtucket and a graduate of West High. He spent most of his life in Lincoln and summers at Carpenters Beach in RI. He was a member of the RI Carpenters Union and worked with his father at Seaboard Const. and later with his son at Wallboard Dist. in CT. He loved music, dancing, fast cars, ice cream, boxing, the Bruins, Celtics and swimming in the ocean. A simple man with a huge heart. He is survived by his sister and her husband Claraeen and Frank Leisure, her son, Scott Parks and his son Dustin. Former wife, Janet Lovely and his children Lynne, Carl, Janice and her husband Nicholas all of CT, three grandsons, Raymond Paulson, Christopher Paulson and C. Seth Pearson. Dad your essence lives on in all of us. We are forever grateful. The joy and love you gave us will never die. Ours for just a moment, but heaven is forever. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to local Alzheimer's Research Centers or charity of your choice.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 9:00am -10:15am, October 9, 2012 at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church, Pine St, Pawtucket at 11am. Burial will be in Mt St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
