87, passed peacefully on October 11th with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of the late Jorgina (Pereira) Machado.
Born in Terceira, Azores, he was the son of the late Jose de Sousa Machado and Ana Conceicao Santos .
He had been employed by Northeast Cable for over 25 years before retiring,
He is survived by two daughters, Nancy P. Ourique and Iria M. Mogayzel, three grandchildren, Stephanie M. Pinto, Michael J. Mogayzel and Alycia S. Mogayzel, two great grandchildren, Kayla R. Rogers and Jaden A. Pinto, three sisters, Maria Lemos, Maria dos Anjos Oliveira and Encarnacao Jardim and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Jose Fernando Machado and brother of the late Joao M. Dos Santos, Maria Romeiro and Delfina da Conceicao.
His funeral will be held Monday at 8:45am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Dr, Cumberland at 10am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 1 to 4pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Ocualar Immunology and Uveitis Foundation, 348 Glen Rd, Weston, MA 02493, www.uveitis.org/donate.
