82, passed peacefully at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. She was the wife of Jose Viveiros. They have been married for 64 years.
Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, a daughter of the late Mariano Carreiro and Encarnacao (Lagoa) Carreiro.
Besides her husband she is survived by four sons, Manuel, Jose, Eugenio and Eduin Viveiros, three daughters, Adriana Batalau, Fatima Cutelo and Cremilde Rodrigues, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, two brothers, Serafin and Mariano Carreiro. She was the mother of the late Estrela Rhode.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Drive, Cumberland at 10am. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, October 16th from 5 to 8pm.
