94, passed peacefully October 26th. He was the husband of Isabelle (Beaudoin) Bergeron. They have been married for 63 years.
Born in Drummondville, Quebec, a son of the late Joseph and Lydia (Marier) Bergeron.
He had been employed by Gilbane Corp. as a Union Carpenter serving Local 94 for many years.
Besides his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Monique Shaw and her husband John, of Cary, NC, Louise McMullen and her husband Joseph, of West Warwick, Pauline Clavet and her husband, Andrew of Pawtucket, Marie Bessette and her husband Leo, of Attleboro, two sons, Emile Bergeron and his wife Laura, of Falmouth, MA and Paul Bergeron and his wife Judy, of North Attleboro, a daughter in law, Patricia Bergeron of Scituate, two brothers, Jacques and Julien Bergeron, three sisters, Sr. Denise Bergeron, CND, Therese Bergeron and Marie-Paule Bergeron, 14 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Henri Bergeron and the brother of the late Jean-Paul, Raymond, Rene, and Lucienne Bergeron.
His funeral will be held Monday at 8:15 am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish (St. Matthew Church) Dexter St, Central Falls at 9:30am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 4 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Sr. Bea's Ministry, c/o 1030 Dexter St, Central Falls, RI 02863.
