91, formerly a longtime Aetna St. resident passed peacefully on December 14th. She was the wife of the late Gerard P. LaPlante.
Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Marie-Reine (Tessier) Beaudoin.
Theresa had been employed by the former Coats and Clark and then worked for Texas Instruments of Attleboro for 15 years before retiring in 1975.
She was a Communicant of Holy Spirit Parish and a former member of St. Mathieu Church Women’s Association. She loved music, singing, playing her ukulele and participating in many church entertainment activities.
Mrs. LaPlante is survived by two sons, Dennis A. LaPlante and his wife Heather of Mendon, MA and Ronald R. LaPlante and his wife Cindy of Lincoln, four grandchildren, Avery, Hannah and Gregg LaPlante and Bianca Peixoto, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Montcalm, Armand and Simone Beaudoin and Margaret LaMontagne.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish (St. Mathieu Church) Dexter St, Central Falls at 9:30am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the local Food Bank of choice.
