passed peacefully on December 26th with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Doris (Laplume) Larivee. They have been married for 60 years.
He was a son of the late Joseph and Aurore (Massey) Larivee. He was a lifelong resident of Central Falls. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Ronald G. Larivee and his wife Bonnie of Chepachet and Michael R. Larivee and his wife Julie of Woonsocket, a daughter, Susan Fugere and her husband Robert of North Providence, five brothers, Raymond, Gerard, Roger, Robert and Leo Larivee, a sister, Lillian Richard, six grandchildren, Dawn, Heather, Eric, Ronnie, Kristen and Derek, 7 great grandchildren, Jared, Christopher, Johnathan, Gabriella, Amanda, Elizabeth and Jordan and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Therese Turcotte.
His funeral will be held Monday at 8:45am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish, (St. Matthew Church) Dexter St, Central Falls at 10am. Burial with Military Honors will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Relatives and friends invited. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 5 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St, Providence, RI 02904.
