101, of Shawmut Avenue, entered into new life on December 29, 2012 joining her beloved husband Lucien J. Brodeur and cherished daughters, Cecile M. Laperche and Emma L. Bergeron. Born May 15, 1911 to Leopold and Olympia (Parent) Palardy in New York Mills, NY then coming to Central Falls in 1927. She was employed at Concordia as a weaver until married in 1935.
She leaves 5 children: Anna H. Tetreault of New Bern, NC, Roy L. Brodeur of Cumberland, Br. Lucien L. Brodeur of Attleboro, MA, Arlene L. Brodeur of Central Falls and Linda A. Walker of Lincoln. 15 grandchildren, 27 great grand children and many nieces & nephews.
She leaves a brother: Lucien E. Palardy of Mattapoisett, MA and joins her sisters, Marion Delorme, Theresa Deschenes, Gloria Sirenski and brothers Hubert, Alphonse, Hector, Joseph and Maurice Palardy.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 9am from Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Avenue, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish (St. Mathieu Church) Dexter St. Central Falls at 10am. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 964 Main St. Pawtucket, RI 02860 or LaSalette Shrine, 947 Park St. Attleboro, MA. 02703 would be appreciated.
