82, of Webster St, passed Monday at the Holiday Retirement Center, Manville. He was the husband of Barbara (Kerr) Hart.

Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Ernest J, Hart Sr. and Elsie (Wilkinson) Hart.

He had been a Union Carpenter for Local 342 then Local 94 for 60 years. Ernest was an also the former Fire Chief of the Fairlawn Lincoln Fire Department and a World War II Navy Veteran.

Besides his wife, two daughters, Deborah Turmel and Maryann Donahue, five sons, David, Bruce, Brian, Kevin and Craig Hart and fourteen grandchildren, survive him. Services were private.
