81, passed June 14, 2013. She was the loving wife of the late Arthur L. Laporte. Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Wilfred and Mary-Jane (Raymond) Maurice.
She had been employed as a winding technician for many years, retiring from Quality Ribbon after 20 years.
She is survived by four children, Richard B. Laporte and his wife Donna, Rachel G. Laporte, Diane D. Lawton, Normand J. Laporte and his wife Catherine, a sister, Germaine Gaulin, 9 grandchildren, Nicole Veilleux, Mark, Asia and Harmony Laporte, James and Megan Mieczkowski , Jennifer Coyne, Kerri and Lynn Chatelle, five great grandchildren, Sean, Amber, Shelby, Reagan and Madison. She was sister of the late Rita S. Houle, Armand "Frenchie" Walter and Bertrand Maurice and Florence Smith. Lucille was a dedicated mother
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 9:30am in Holy Spirit Parish, 1030 Dexter St, Central Falls, RI 02863. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours that will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Holy Spirit Parish.
