Born in North Carolina, she was a daughter of Elma L. Adams and the late Robert Robertson.
She had been employed by the Providence School Dept. before retiring. She also worked for the Washington Tap, the Brotherhood Lounge and the American Legion Post 69.
Besides her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Shelly Frazier and her husband Shannon, three grandchildren, Jakiala Hooks, Shayne Frazier and Skyla Frazier, six brothers, Arthur L. Robertson, Clifford Adams, Dobie Dennis, Manuel L. Adams, Bobby R. Adams and Michael Robertson all of Providence, five sisters, Evalene (Tina) Robertson, Michelle Dennis, Nina Robertson, Lisa Robertson and her other sister Dianne Levy. She had a special relationship with her nephew Jerry Robertson as the son she always wanted. A host of nieces and nephews. Jeannette was the sister of the late Logenia Robertson.
A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday at noon in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Tuesday morning from 10am till noon. Burial will be private.
