71 of Lincoln RI , passed away peacefully at home, on November 18, 2013, with the love of his life Donna, his precious children, grandchildren and family by his side. He fought a 6 month courageous battle with lung cancer. He was extremely grateful to the doctors, nurses, hospital workers and caregivers at Fatima Hospital, R.I. Hospital, The Miriam Hospital, Mass General Hospital and Hospice of R.I. and especially his niece Deborah Fox RN for their devotion, compassion and especially their love while fighting this disease.
Born October 24, 1942 in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Harry E. Myers Jr. and Louise (Mueller) Myers. Harry loved his job of more than 50 years at J. H. Lynch & Sons of Cumberland, R.I. and continued to work there until his passing. He rose through the ranks starting as their mechanic to his current position of General Superintendent. The lessons he learned along the way were willingly shared with all the JHL family and their employee's past and present. Harry belonged to Local 57 Operating Engineers.
He leaves behind his wife Donna, with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage on June 7th of this year, his daughter Lori J. Hoard and her husband Robert, His son's Harry E. Myers IV and Gary D. Myers and his wife Patricia all of Lincoln RI. His adopted by love daughter Lucy Panagoulopoulos and her husband Basil of Cumberland RI and his 11 grandchildren.
He is the loving brother of Donald Myers of Pawtucket RI, Patricia Anderton of Zephyrhills, FL, Alice Myers of Cranston RI, Jane Metivier, of Phoenix, AZ, Doris Cotnoir of Lincoln, RI and their spouses and children.

Visiting hours: Friday the 22nd, 4-8pm and Saturday the 23rd at 9:30am with the Funeral service to follow at 10:00am, Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Avenue Lincoln, RI 02865. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston.
