74, entered into eternal peace on Friday, November 22, 2013. She was the wife of the late Tito Pires Gomes. Mrs. Gomes was born in Ribeira Ilheu, Mosteiros, Fogo, Cabo Verde. She was the daughter of the late Casimiro Barbosa Amado and Maria Barbosa Amado. She immigrated to the United States in 1983 and resided Pawtucket, RI. She is survived by her son, Irlando Gomes, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, her siblings, Mariana Simao, Isabel Alves, Fausto Barbosa, Armando Gomes Depina, Joao Barbosa Amado and many loving nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives. She was mother of the late Fernandinho Gomes and Jose Gomes and sister to the late Madalina Martins, Manuel Barbosa Amado and Alberto Gomes Depina.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:45 from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave, Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will be graveside in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5 to 8pm.
