83, passed on November 26th. She was the wife of Dionisio Lima. They have been married for 38 years.
Born in Angustias, Faial, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Joao Goncalves Cipriano and Helena Sousa da Rosa.
Maria was a member of the Uniao Portuguesa Beneficente of Pawtucket and had also been employed by Carlton Division of Central Falls. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Tomas A. Carvalho of Horta, Faial, four grandchildren, Nelson, Sandy, Michael Carvalho of Cranston and Christina Carvalho of Horta, Faial, a sister, Maria de Fatima Cipriano, two brothers, Joao Cipriano of Central Falls and Manuel Goncalves of Pawtucket, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Manuel Eduardo Carvalho.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:45am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, High St, Central Falls at 10am.
