64, passed on January first surrounded by her adoring family. She was the wife of Hector R. Lopez. Born in Cunen Quiche, Guatemala, she was the daughter of the late Victor Samayoa and Natalia Velasquez. She had been employed as a supervisor in the pharamaceudical industry for many years.
Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Hector Lopez and his wife Lisel, a daughter, Karla Caballeros and her husband Carlos, five grandchildren, two sisters, Miriam and Mela Samayoa, a brother, Clement Samayoa all of Pawtucket and other siblings in Guatemala.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, January 4th from 6 to 9pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Pawtucket. Burial will be in Las Flores Cemetery, Guatemala City, Guatemala.
