91, passed on January 11, 2014 with her family by her side. Born in St. Miguel, Azores, Alzira, along with her late husband Guilherme Duarte and five loving children, moved to the US in 1966. She was devout in her faith and dedicated her life to her family. She will always be remembered for her warm smile and caring nature. She is survived by four daughters, Zelia Teixeira, Carmela Neves, Manuela Whitehurst, and Grace Fonseca, a son, William Duarte, a sister, Adelaide de Silva. She will forever remain in the hearts of her nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jude Church, Front St, Lincoln at 10am. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
