91, passed on January 22nd with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Adelina (Pina) Vicente. They have been married for 66 years.
Born in Brava, Cabo Verde, a son of the late Amancio and Julia (Pina) Vicente.
He had been employed by Healthtex for many years before retiring.
Besides his wife he is survived by ten children, Victoria Vicente of RI, Ludgero "Duke" Vicente of RI, Manuel "Manny" Vicente of Florida, Alcides Vicente of Georgia, Dorothy Ramos of RI, Adelaide Teixeira of Ohio, Etelvina Pires of Ohio, Belmira Croston of Ohio, Nancy Vicente of RI and David Vicente of RI, 32 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, daughter and son in laws, nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Antonio Vicente and Olavo "Vaco" DaLomba,
His funeral will be held Monday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Drive, Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 3 to 6pm.
