74, passed on March 17, 2014 at the RI Hospital. Born April 22, 1939 in Guatemala City, she was the daughter of the late Juan Bautista Fernandez and Ana Gregoria Turcios de Fernandez. She is survived by two daughters: Sandra Fernandez of North Providence and Lorena Marisol Fernandez of Virginia Beach, Virginia, two sons, Felipe Hernandez of Cranston, and Rudy Hernandez of Bristol, three sisters; Argentina Jordan of Providence, Martha Turcios of Cranston and Amelia Vargas of North Scituate, two brothers, Edyn Fernandez of Uruguay and Genaro Fernandez of Providence, and 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Juan Hernandez and sister of the late Juan Francisco Fernandez.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 26th from 5pm to 9pm in the Keefe Funeral Home,
Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday at 10am in Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul, 30 Fenner St, Providence, RI 02903. Burial will be graveside in St Ann's Cemetery, 73 Church St, Cranston, RI.
