84, formerly of Liberty St, passed April 4th with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of the late Jeannette E. (LaPierre) Raymond.
He was a lifelong Central Falls resident and longtime Communicant of Holy Spirit Parish (St Matthew Church). He had been employed as a tool maker for many years. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Bernard is survived by two sons, Paul B. and Dennis R. Raymond, two daughters, Jeanne Monast and Anne Gaboury, a sister, Sr. Yvette Raymond SSA, a brother, Robert Raymond, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late George Raymond.
His funeral will be held Monday at 10am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter St, Central Falls at 11 am. Burial with Military Honors will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours will be held Sunday from 4 to 7pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Holy Spirit Parish Building Fund, 1030 Dexter St, Central Falls, RI 02863.
