I believe that the true value of a person is evident in the positive impact that they make in the lives of others. Bill you made such a positive impact in so many lives and mine was one of them. Your humility was one of your qualities I admired most. I will miss talking with you and seeing you at our Home Group but I know I will always feel your presence. This world has sustained a great loss but Heaven has gained a great treasure. See ya soon my friend.

A Good Man...... Bill was always available to help those struggling with their disease. I think of Bill everyday, because when I moved he sent me one of his pictures of the Point Judith Lighthouse. My sympathies and condolences to his family and friends. Imagine the conversations he will have with Jimmy K!!!

Bill was my hero, just as he was a hero to those who knew and loved him. It was always inspiring to hear him speak at the meetings he loved to attend, and he did so with caring, compassion and love. A great advocate of our 12 Step program, he planted sober seeds in those who heard him speak, and the world is truly better for all that he did for those who have been trapped in isolation and fear, ... lost to a terrible illness without Bill's message of hope, humility and trust in God. Please accept my profound sympathy in the immense loss of your father, grandfather, brother, as well as friend to so many of us. Blessings to you, Bill! Enjoy your journey home. Joyce H.

To the Ryan Family, I didn't know William personally, but I can see that he was a caring individual, and He was to young to pass away. I lost my father at the age of 74, He would be 82 this year. It was a difficult time for me, but what brought me comfort is what we read in the bible about death. It say's at Isaiah 25:8 That God (Jehovah) "will swallow up death forever" and will "Wipe the tears from all faces". And also a scripture of comfort is what Jesus himself said at John 5:28 29 He will "call all those in the memorial tombs out to a resurrection right here on earth. We may grieve at the loss of a loved one, but words of comfort are available to us in the Bible, please read these verses for yourself and find comfort in them as I have. Or visit JW.org and read more.
