Dear family of Mary,
I am sorry for your loss. The passing of someone you love can be a very hard thing to cope with. Perhaps you can find some solace in the words Jesus spoke to the sister of Lazarus upon his death. The Bible states at John 11:25, "Jesus said to her: 'I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." I hope this message brings you comfort.

To the Carvalho Family, I didn't know Mary personally, but I can see that 73 years old is to young to pass. I lost my father at the age of 74, He would be 82 this year. It was a difficult time for me, but what brought me comfort is what we read in the bible about death. It say's at Isaiah 25:8 That God (Jehovah) "will swallow up death forever" and will "Wipe the tears from all faces". And also a scripture of comfort is what Jesus himself said at John 5:28 29 He will "call all those in the memorial tombs out to a resurrection right here on earth. Please read these verses for yourself and find comfort in them as I have. Or visit JW.org and read more
