To the Goncalves Family, I didn't know Alina personally, but I can see that she has a large and caring family. I lost my father at the age of 74, He would be 82 this year. It was a difficult time for me, but what brought me comfort is what we read in the bible about death. It say's at Isaiah 25:8 That God (Jehovah) "will swallow up death forever" and will "Wipe the tears from all faces". And also a scripture of comfort is what Jesus himself said at John 5:28 29 He will "call all those in the memorial tombs out to a resurrection right here on earth. Please read these verses for yourself and find comfort in them as I have. Or visit JW.org and read more

To the family I offer my sincere condolences for your loss. The pain of losing a loved one in death is like no other pain we ever experience and is the most difficult thing to get through. May you find comfort and have faith in God’s promise of an earthly paradise where even death will no longer exist. That promise is found at Revelation 21:4, 5 which reads “And he [God} will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.†As wonderful as it is that mourning, outcry and pain will be no more, God’s promise even includes doing away with mankind‘s ultimate enemy - death. “And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.“ 1 Corinthians 15:26

Dan was one of the truest geeltemnn that I have had the fortune to know. His balance came from a space of appreciating the range of expression emanating from the human spirit. He provided steadying comfort to me in facing my wife's battle with cancer this year. He is a hero whose influence will remain in my heart. Thank you Dan.Love to all of the Adams.Joe
