Words can't begin to express the pain you being gone has caused. My poor mother in law had to bury her baby, my 10 year old has no daddy, Mike was the love of my life, we began dating when I was 17 he was 23. I was with him for almost a decade. I swear the other night I heard Our daughter crying for you I jumped up and ran in to the room and she had her thumb in her mouth and turned the other way as if she was sleeping. I found out the next day when she took a walk with my mom that she had been crying that night but didn't want to upset me so she pretended like she was sleeping. That breaks my heart. Our baby girl is devastated over this but is strong like you Mike, She's keeping it together more than most of us. Please watch over her up there. I know her uncle Jewels, Kyle and Joe will be here for her no matter what and I cherish the relationship I have with your mom as no one can take her place in my heart. We made a lot of great memories, years and years of good times I'll cherish every one of those memories forever. I'll see you on the other side Miguel. I'll love you forever and a day. xoxoxo

They say it gets easier with time, I don't believe that at all. I think it hurts and the hole will always be in our hearts where you were. Your baby girl is now accepting your gone 6 months later. She says " I am never ever ever going to see my daddy ever again". How do you respond to that? I know you are watching over her and I try to remind her of the silly things you use to do, she is a very smart 10 year old little girl. I remind her she was wanted and you wanted a little girl sooo bad and was the happiest man alive when it was confirmed we were having a girl, I am so glad I have at least 8 years of pictures to share with her, It's so hard to keep it together when she cries because I want to take her pain away. I want to be strong for her, I want her to know I am here for her but tears fall from my face too. She brags and says she looks just like you just the girl version and she's on point with that. You will always be missed Mike Forever Young. Rest in Paradise.
