Our prayers go out to all of you, Bob was a fun guy to be around. He was a dedicated Father and Husband. We met Bob and his family when our sons and Bobby and Garret started cub scouts,then we moved on to Baseball, then football. he was a serious man, but knew how to have fun also. I gave him the name Major Dad in our Baseball yrs. He was a very structured person. He was a true Military man. God is getting a good man up there. We will miss you Bob....

Dear Sandy, Melissa, Bobby, and Garrett;
Know always, that Bob will be near...for those we love and lose, never leave us.
Roger and I are so saddened for you all and want you to know that so many people mourn with you.
Bob had that quality of always "seeing the best" in everyone. He made everyone laugh, he held everyone accountable, he prodded, he praised, he lived a full and dedicated life, and he will be missed.
I am so grateful that my life's journey was intersected with getting to know you all and even more grateful to have been called "friend" by Bob.
When he served in Jordan, my Kindergarten students mailed packages of goodies. He sent pictures back. We were so blessed that he was home by the end of the school year, and was able to attend their end of the year celebration. At that celebration, Bob ceremoniously handed me, through a firm handshake, a peace coin...an "Operation Iraqi Freedom" coin.
I have held that coin to be a significant treasure since.
For Ava...you shall grow with the "shadow" of your grandpa watching over you always...he was sooo proud that you were born into this world, a world he worked so hard to make sure was safe for family, friends and strangers alike.
God Bless you all.
With Sympathy and Love,
Roger & Roberta

I will always keep a special prayer for you and your family. I will remind my son, now 7, the sacrifices of men like Bob made, in service to his country. God Bless,

It was a high honor and a distinct priviledge to have worked with Bob when he joined the FEMA team that I was fortunate enough to be a member of. I had the Genuine Privilege of working under the Leadership of Bob at the 282'nd from 1990 to 1995... Unknown to most there, Bob actually helped to save my life, after I came down with Gulf War Illness. He made certain I was properly cared for at a time when anything less would have cost me my life. Bob, you will always be a True Friend when I am asked who those were who were Loyal to their fellow service members.
