Manny has been a dear friend since childhood. We shared so many good times and laughter throughout our childhood and adult years leaving me with great memories of Manny. The last time I saw Manny was a few months ago, we both yelled eachothers name out; hugged each other; smiled and laughed. A memory I will always cherish. You will be missed. RIP Manny

Manny was a great shipmate on one of the tougher boats to work on in Pt. Judith in the late 1990s. It was the first job on the water I’d ever had. Some trips Manny and I were the only Americans on board. It didn’t take him long to be highly respected which on this boat meant you passed the test. His intelligence and toughness was only matched by that golden heart of his. If you were his people, there were few others who’d be quite as happy to see you. There aren’t lots of people like that and surely there was only one Manny. His sense of humor coupled with determination to complete the job at hand helped motivate me to be who I am.
