Whenever I read of a death I feel so sad for the family who lost that person. No matter the age of the deceased or the state of health or the means of death, it is still a very sorrowful time for family and friends. It touches my heart that there are people who are in mourning and I know that it will take a lot of time for them to recover from the blow of their loss. Death leaves us angry, sad, resentful and sometimes even guilty. Although those feelings are mostly unfounded, especially guilt, they are what happens and we even tell ourselves it's not real. We keep thinking we can pick up the phone and call that person or go visit them and everything will be like it always has. Death is very painful and we feel like we will never get over it. Slowly, over time though, we begin to go on anyway, we get back to living our lives without that person who has died. May you find comfort and have faith in God's promises of an earthly paradise (Psalms 37:29), of an earthly resurrection to live in that paradise earth (John 5:28,29) and where death (an enemy) will be done away with 1 Corinthians 15:26. These are just some of the promises found in the Bible and we look forward to the fulfillment of them all in the near future. Revelation 21:3-5. I am so sorry for your loss.
