gil harris was member of the 1954 state basketball champions @ e providence h s. I had the opportunity of playing against gil , lennie walker, je nuttal, harry edmunds in the new england bb tournament in 1954! we won but with gil playing hard we only won by 7 points; yrs later we met at lennie walker golf tourney and renewed our friendship. i will miss him!

To the Harris Family, I didn't know Gilbert personally, but I want express my deepest sympathy to all of you. I know it is not easy to loose someone we love, I lost my Dad 7years ago and it wasn't easy then. But I took comfort from the bible, and how it comforts us with the fact that we will see them again.
