My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Burgo family for their loss of one of my dearest of friends. George was a unique individual, kind, considerate and a true friend in every sense of the word and I am honored and proud to have known him. George put God before anything and in that, God was his inspiration and motivation and I'm sure he's a peace in his new life. God Bless!!

I had the good fortune to work with George for many years. I always admired his positive attitude and happy disposition. He seemed to have a great deal of faith in God and the goodness of his fellow men and women. I am saddened to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences to his family.

The friend I have never met. (My friend on-line)
It's strange to have a friend that you have never hugged, shook his hand or looked into his eyes.
But I have been touched by his soul, seen the good in his heart and felt the warmth of his being.
My deepest sympathies go out to his entire family and friends. George B, is now looking down at all of us and laughing at our jokes and conversations.
Rest in Peace George B!!
Thank you Grace

My deepest sympathies and condolences to all of George's family and friends. Words cannot begin to express the pain and emptiness I feel in my heart. Although we were not brothers by blood i called and considered you my brother for 26 years. I have never met anybody so full of life and energy. You could walk into any room and light it up with just a smile. So kind, considerate and humble always placing others needs and concerns before your own. A true man of God comitted to your faith and leading by example. It was a true blessing to have you in my life and call you my friend and i'm forever grateful for that gift. May you rest in peace alongside your mom and dad. I will never forget you and will always love you my brother I'll see you when I get there.

To the Burgo Family. I didn't know George personally, but I would like to express my condolences to you and your family for your loss. I have experienced a similar loss in the past, and found a great deal of comfort from what we read in the bible about how death will be done away with as stated in Isaiah 25:8. Also we read the words of Jesus who said we will see our dead loved ones again (John 5:28,29). Please read this from your Bible and find comfort as I have, or visit jw.org for more information.

I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family for the loss of your loved one. May God almighty, father of tender mercies and all comfort continue to comfort you all (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4). How glad we are that God has promised to completely remove death, tears, mourning, outcry and pain (Revelation 21:4). Indeed we all eagerly anticipate the fulfillment of that promise. The Bible also provides assurance of a real hope of resurrection for our dead loved ones in the coming near future (John 5:25). May these promises from God bring you comfort. On behalf of the family, I want to thank you all for your love, words, prayers, and support at this time. It is clear that George was loved by many and we are inspired by all the lives he touched. He was such a special, smart, charming, loving man of God, and we will miss him very much.
He would have been 48 on his birthday this year, and on his birthday, we will pray and remember him at Sunday service:

Because of the brutal winter weather and my schedule I was unable to attend the Tuesday night St. Jude"s novena at St. Agnes Church in Providence recently. It was with great sadness that when I attended the Novena on 3/24/2015 that I learned of George's passing. I did not know much about him. I did not even know his last name. What I did know was that he was a wonderful man, who was filled with faith, grace, devotion, and all that is good. I will treasurer the St. Rapheal's oil that he was kind enough to give to me. I will remember how much he enjoyed being at the annual feast of St. Teresa during the month of August in Nasonville R.I. I will remember how much he appreciated that I said that I would pray for him to do well with the medical procedure that he was having for a eye condition and how we discuss that we would try to attend Mass on St Lucy's Feast Day on December 13, as she is the Patron Saint for eye problems. May his Nobe Soul now rest in peace. For George the corruption of original sin that we all are born with is gone, his Soul is in now filled with Our Lord's eternal glory. I will pray for you George; please pray for us in heaven, especially when we celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at the St. Jude's Novena.
