Sincere condolences for your loss. May it comfort you to know that God promises to resurrect the dead to live again on the earth (Acts 24:15 and John 5:25). The earth will have been cleared of wickedness and all causes of pain and suffering and even death (Revelation 21:3-5) and people will live forever (Psalms 37:29). These changes will be brought about when God's kingdom comes and his will is done on earth as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:9, 10)
