My deepest sympathy to the Gracie's parents, children & grandchildren on her passing. She was a strong, kind and gentle and most of all a caring woman. I was so blessed to have had the pleasure to work with her at Roger Williams Home Care. She was not only a co-worker she was a friend and will be missed.

I thought that if I remain in denial that my dear friend Gracie will come back. That she will walk these halls again and say to me "I'm working my way down to you See-See." I did not think that He will take her so soon. I thought that I will see her again and she will say to me, "When are we going to have a pool day at your house?" Well, He has come and He has seen your pain and your suffering. He saw that you were ill and saw that you fought with courage and preservance. And the Lord said to you "Take heart, daughter," he said, "your faith has healed you." And the woman was healed at that moment." Matthew 9:22.
My dear firend Gracie, I miss you and will hold fast to the day when I see you again. And to your family and friends, do not let your hearts be troubled for the Lord is our comfort. And Gracie is with him. She rose when He called her name. He has transform her and she has a new body. My spirit is lifted for I know that in Christ, she has been made alive. I will try not to mourn you and I will remember you always.

My thoughts and prayers are extended to the family. Gracie and I were neighbors for many years until she moved and we lost contact. I am saddened to hear that she was ill and wished that we had stayed in touch with one another. I always had an ear out for her voice when Her daughter had a cookout and I would yell over the fence "Hi Gracie". RIP Gracie.
