To my personal hero:
Dad you were the guy I went to after I broke my bicycle and couldn't fix it.
You were the guy I went to when I needed help nursing an old car back to life.
You were the guy I went to after I bought a house and only owned a hammer.
You were that guy I went to when I needed to blow off steam after a tough day.
You where the guy I thought of first when I wanted to head up to Maine.
While I am happy that ALS is no longer robbing you of your body, I am so missing that guy I always turned to. A regular guy who was my super hero. Some say you don't appreciate what you have until it is gone. I always knew what I had, and it was pretty special.

Lucille, words cannot convey the sadness I feel! You and George had a love for one another that I have never witnessed before. You truly were soul mates! Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers - he will be missed.
