Aunt Tillie and family. So sorry for your loss. I couldn't help but think back on the memories I have of Uncle George (Mousey). The softball games at McCall Field, beach trips to South Shores, his passion for golf and my particular favorite was when I thought a light blue blanket with the satin trim was just as powerful as Superman's cape as I exited the second story loft from the garage on Carver Street and was saved by a branch hanging upside down by my ankle. It was Uncle George who let me down easy...laughing as I remember it.

My Dear Auntie Tillie, cousins and extended family.....so many little moments in a great life! As I repeatedly turn each page of my photo albums,I hold so many fond memories of joyful family gatherings, particularly on Carver St. and warm sunny days at South Shore Beach. I recall one particular day standing at the shoreline wanting so much to venture out into the deep (beyond my ankles!)with my cousins. Uncle George took my hand and walked along side of me, and when I thought I was far enough, he picked me up in his arms and together we jumped over the mighty waves laughing and having a grand time...as along as he was holding me I wasn't afraid!
Oh, how Jesus must have rejoiced to walk Uncle George into Glory, and how joyful Uncle George must have been to wake and see His face! I hold each of you close in heart as you walk this broken, but beautiful road, and pray that the same sheltering grace of our Lord that covered Uncle George will spread its wings over each of you during this time of tremendous loss. Love you in my heart.
