Joe was a remarkable man. Our thoughts and prayers are with his children -- he was justifiably proud of his family.

Joe was always there to help everyone. I remember one of his sayings from years ago, "Are you from the corner"? Joe was a friend to many people and he will be missed.

Paula and Family,
Please accept my very deepest sympathy on the passing of your father.
I will always remember the great sense of humor he had. Also, those infamous meat pies he made so well.
May He Rest In Peace.

To the Sadlier family:
Please accept our deepest sympathy during this difficult time. Your Dad will live on in the hearts of many, many people whose lives he touched. The hard work he did for those less fortunate will always be remembered. When you pass by Baldwin School and the Aaron Hotchkiss playground, you will see a classic example. He was such a tremendous part of the fundraising that Bob & I worked on to create this lasting memory for a child lost in a fire. This is just one of the many cherished memories for your family to hold onto. He truly was "An Irish Gentleman"

"When Irish eyes are smiling, you know that something good is cooking" - something like that was on his name card, I don't remember exactly, it was more than thirty years ago on a camp, we were students and worked as kitchen staff. Mr Sadlier was a baker there. Several times he took us - kitchen staff from abroad- group by group in his car to Augusta and to the mall, otherwise we would spend all nine weeks there in the forest and wouldn't see anything. He was very modest, listened to us, but we knew little about him, except that he was a very good and helpful man and that he was Irish. Thank you for all, Mr Sadlier. R.I.P.
