George, I will always remember your twinkling eyes and all of those bon fires at the house. You were definitely the "cool dad" and we all enjoyed having out there with Markae and Mike and the whole gang. Many of my best memories from my late teens and early twenties were hanging out at "The Ptaszeks". I'm sure mNy of my old friends from Burrillville will agree. Thanks for helping to make my youth a very memorable one indeed. Love and Godspeed to youðŸ’ðŸ™

I was saddened to see that my neighbor on East St and classmate at Cleary School for 9 years had passed. It brought up so many happy memories of growing up together. George was drawing cars all through elementary school. I'm not surprised that it became his career. My condolences to his family.

Prayers, thoughts, and sincere sympathy go out to George's family. He was a great friend to RBO and many other polka bands, and we valued his friendship very much. George was always so full of enthusiasm and full of life. From all the members of The Rich Bobinski Orchestra Family

George was one of our biggest fans and just loved to dance to our music. He was a tremendous supporter of polka music and a all around nice guy. We truly will miss him and our condolences to his family and friends.

We are so sorry to hear this news. George was a wonderful dancer and loved his polkas. He would always tease Jim about his drumming. Rest in peace George.

Uncle George,
Although I hadn't seen you in many years, I hold fond memories of your visits to Arkansas. My Mom and Dad always told me of their trip to New York after their marriage and I treasure the pictures you took of my parents in the ocean. You have left behind a wonderful legacy of creative genius that I now share with my children. Every time we saw a "Green Machine" or the fashion designer plates, I proudly told my kids, "Your Uncle George designed that". I will continue to honor your creative talents and this weekend we will dance with wild abandon to polka music in your honor.
Love your niece,
Penny

Condolences to George's family and friends. I will forever be grateful to George for hiring me at Hasbro in 1974. He gave a chance to a raw, untrained kid out of school with just a BS in Art Education and encouraged me, calling me his "diamond in the rough." Without that chance, I would have missed out on a great 33 year long career there and the opportunity to provide for my family as I have. I regret not following up with George over the years and the news of his passing truly saddened me.

We cared for Dutchess. His sometime loveable Mini-Italian Greyhound since she was a pup. Over the years George & I developed a wonderful father/daughter/friend relationship. He became part of our family. We talked frequently and we loved his stories/history of growing up, working hard but having fun and experiencing things in life that many of us only dream of. He was an extraordinary man. I will miss him greatly. He gave to me many inspirations and one small gift which he said "I don't know who else would appreciate it after I'm gone". A picture of his first dog Bo. Which I've treasured every day and will for many years.
Sympathy to the family. Lynn
