My condolences to the Cantara/Dyer families. One of my memories was the first time eating dinner and your dad had butter on the side of his glasses and no one knew why I couldn't stop laughing...RIP Mr. C.

For all that you were, for all that you are, and all that you will ever continue to be ; there is no greater grandfather a girl could have by her side. You held me when I needed held, guided me when I didn't know the way, supported and loved me know matter what path I chose. I remember running down the street to greet you catering truck when it came up the road, and the times it was just the two of us at Ihop on Thayer Street and you though my choice of boysenberry syrup was just grand. You gave me my passion for the kitchen and the culinary by letting me accompany you at the shop, and even though I never "got it" I would lay on the couch and watch John Wayne movies for house just to snuggle.Up until now, I could not get the words out that I wanted to convey, none were good enough. Funny, because you always thought I should be a writer.I hope my remembrance does you justice. I know you as well as Nana are still watching over me and that gives me incredible peace and joy. Love you grandpa, your little one.Little Karen.
