I grew up on Linwood Avenue and I've been going to "Dave's" since I was 6 or 7 years old (1969 or so). I've been living in South Kingstown since 1995, yet I continued to have my hair cut by Dave. That's because Dave wasn't just my barber, but he was also my friend. I will deeply miss him.

I had the pleasure of knowing Dave for many years and I know I speak for many when I say he was always upbeat and will be sorely missed by all that knew him.

My heartfelt condolences to Carolyn and family.
I was a customer and long time friend to Dave for over 40 years.Dave gave my son Jason his first haircut, He is now 45 years old...I so much enjoyed our barber chair conversations and Dave was always a joy to have a good laugh with..
I am looking for the video we took when Dave was cutting my sons first cut. When I find it I will see that you get a copy for remembrance.. A GREAT HUMAN BEING.Bet he's still cutting hair for the apostles.!!!

I first met Dave when I was 12 years old (1969). My uncles Bill Courtemanche and Jim Mieczkowski took me for a haircut at Dave's old shop on Prospect in Pawtucket. From that day I was hooked and continued to visit Dave's chair for years to come. I will miss you Dave you are a class individual whom I enjoyed being around. God Bless Mrs. Baggett and the family. I just learned of Dave's passing and was sad to miss his service.

Carol and Beth, As you know, Dave and I were very close. Dave cut my hair and my brother Tom's hair for many years. We also solved the world's problems once every three weeks. What a rich relationship! I am so sorry to see him go, but he is in a better place now. Haircuts will never be the same, neither will my life.
I wish you rapid healing and the fondest memories. He was truly devoted to you both!

Uncle Dave, I wish I did this sooner. You have always been my favorite uncle. You cut my hair as a little kid and when my family and even when my parents moved Away it never mattered. You were and will always be my favorite and best uncle. There were so many things we shared though the tough times, but that doesn't matter now. I love so much Uncle Dave. I will look forward to seeing you again.
All my love
Your nephew Andy.
I love you Uncle Dave
