I am so saddened to hear of Ricky's passing. I have so many happy memories of our high school days and all the fun and laughs we had. Hanging at the tree, riding around in his car, going to Thomson speedway, just to name a few.You are in my thoughts and prayers and hope that one day you may find peace in your memories of Ricky as well. Love, Jackie Lefort

Pat and family; We are so sorry for your loss. Rick will always be young in our memories. He was one of the "kids" who were part of our lives with our sons Dan and Rick. He was always there when anyone needed a hand. We will remember him for his quick smile and caring ways. Our prayers are with you and your family. Richard and Janet Gingras

Please accept our sincere condolences. Our hope is the memories people share will help ease the loss just a bit. I grew up down the street from Ricky in Lincoln. We played basketball all the time in my driveway and baseball in the back yard. Ricky was a frequent participant. We always had a blast. Our thoughts go out to the entire family.

Dear Pat and Family:
What a difficult time Rick had over the last 2 months and he truly faught a battle and unfortunatelylost. Such a wonderful husband, Dad, Grandfather and friend to many, also from all that people are posting a hockey coach so many are thankful their children had teaching them to skate. May he rest in peace.

Rick was the rare case of solid person and tireless volunteer. He took to the ice and youngsters followed his instruction. He made their recreational experiences better and more fun.
I wish they made more like him.
My sons , now adults , spent many hours in hockey rinks nearby Rick. They are better off for it today. When sharing the news of Ricks passing they stated " Rick could even drive the Zamboni"
Our thoughts are with Pat, Rob, and family.

Please accept my condolences for your loss. I got to know Rick while he was coaching hockey with the NS Girls High School. He was always a smiling face and always wanted to teach and show his love of the game of hockey. Once I met Rick it seemed like every time I walked into a rink he was on the ice teaching the game he loved. Please know that there are many young people that Rick has made an impression on through this great game. Please rest in peace my friend!

Our hearts go out to Pat and her family. We remember Rick as a dear friend and very competitive and enthusiastic member of the SNHL ( Saturday Night Hockey League) in our youthful days. More recently we saw him shine on the ice, sharing his love and knowledge of the game in The Lincoln Youth Hockey League. He's left his mark on all fortunate enough to have know him. Peace !
