Cheryl,
I can't believe we just went out for drinks and listen to a band weeks ago. I thank God he gave us time to hug and day thank you to each other for our long valued friendship since we were Five years old. Remember, stadium school, Bain and Cranston East. You , me, Ruby Olivera and June Fasetelli would laugh uncontrollably and get in trouble do that we would get detention. I'll always remember your sincerity and your kind friendship with me. My heart goes to ken, Jessica,Jaryn and Jennifer. My deepest condolences and prayers. You loved your family and husband to pieces. That is all you talked about. That is the way life should be. I am glad we got one last time to meet before your journey was over on earth. Love you my Harmon Avenuestaduim School friend from Cranston. Till we all meet again. When I look up in the sky I'll see a shooting star and I'll know it was you Cheryl Butler Mersereau..

My condolences go out to Cheryl's family and friends close to her. May God bless and heal you at this difficult time. I lived in the neighborhood with Cheryl and was a neighbor of her grandparents. May God allow Cheryl to see them again. I remember her parents and brothers and although we've grown apart, I still pray for those who have come into my life. May God bless and give you the consolations of heaven.

Cheryl was an incredible nurturer who cared for many people throughout her career. With her warm heart and easygoing spirit, she put the needs of those entrusted in her care ahead of her own, time and time again. She cared for the MOST DIFFICULT of clients (M.J.D. to name one)and did so with a smile. For that reason alone, I know she has seen the pearly gates. Her children and grandchildren should be proud of her legacy and feel blessed to be part of her lineage. You have big shoes to fill.
Full of fun and slow to anger, she was a joy to work with and has left me and her co-workers with many happy memories (we had a hell of a time trying out for "Deal or No Deal" at Foxwoods)
Lastly, She was of great comfort to those on the last leg of their journey and had I known she was ill I would have been there for her.
