Don’t ask why…there is no real answer!
Our heavenly father has called him home.
Frank D Penardo, Sr was a loving
Husband, Brother, Father, Uncle, Grandfather and my Father-in-law…
Unfortunately, he and Wanda did not get to spend as much of their life together as they should have.
I have heard many stories of things that he and his brother, Mike; sisters, Sandy and Merry-Ann, as well as sister-in-law, Sue and brother-in-law, Buzzy, did as children and teens…and even more recently as adults.
I know he loved his son. Frankie, even though they did not always see eye-to-eye…
His family was very important to him…his nieces and nephews and their children were always a first thought, he couldn’t wait for family picnics or birthdays, Spring for golfing with Michael or Summer for BBQs at Sandy and Buzzy’s place in Chepachet, Fall for football season with Rob, just so that we could all be together.
As for me, I would have hoped he liked me more but I have to say that I loved him because he gave me the most important person in my
life, which lead to him getting three (3) of the most important people in his life, his grandchildren, Robert, Abigayle and Alexiana. He loved each of them differently but he loved them whole-heartedly. He teased them endlessly with laughter and love.
The love of a husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather should be an example to us on how we should continue to live…truthfully, you could always expect it from Grumpy Grampa. Lovingly, don’t miss the chance to tell anyone and everyone that you love them everyday, you never know if you will get another chance.
As for me…I am starting here/now, I love you all, we are all family, let’s not be so distant…

Pop,
It is almost 1 year since we had to let you go! Not a day goes by that we don't' think of you and miss you.
Frankie made you proud, we took you and Sandy to Western North Carolina, you remember my friend, Kathy and her husband, Ronnie? Well, we all stayed at their house for the night and the following day we took you two up the mountain to Dry Falls in Natahala Gorge and set you both to rest like you wanted!
We took alot of pictures so that everyone knew we did what you wanted What was on the kraft paper. I saved a little of both of you in bottles for the girls so they can always have you two with them! We miss you both so much!
