My condolences to the entire Emery family. I did not know Ernie but his obituary speaks very well for his character Cut way too short he enjoyed his family, hobbies and his work. He was blessed with a wonderful wife and I would guess fishing partners, such as Roger. His wishes for you to celebrate his life with a toast and merriment is very touching. God bless all of you.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I know this is a very difficult time for all of you. I wanted to share a scripture from the Bible that has been helpful to me. It's in the Bible book of Reverlation 21:3,4. These verses speak of a time when we will not have to lose a loved one to death anymore. I hope this scripture will comfort you as is has for me.

Helen, my sympathies go out to you, your daughters, and Dylan. I will never forget Ernie's smiling face peeking around the corner of your deck, and hearing him say "whatha cookin?" during grilling season lol. He loved cooking on the grill and comparing notes. He was a great griller :-). I can also remember spending quite a bit of time with him playing TECMO SUPERBOWL!! You guys were awesome neighbors. RIP Earnie
