To the family of the late Theresa M Landry, I am so very sorry for the loss of your Mother, and Grand Mother. She was a wonderful lady, so talented. I took lessons from her when I was 7 years old. I will never forget her. May she rest in peace...God love her.

Theresa you will forever be in my heart. You taught me so much more than dance. I will treasure you forever.

My deepest sympathies to the Family of Theresa. She was an extraordinary and very special person. My mom's family came from Central Falls and knew her, and my cousin took dance with her for many years, she is remembered with fondness and great respect. I got to know Theresa later on, when renting her beautiful beach cottage for ten years! She was such an inspiration and anyone who met Theresa felt the same and would never forget her. God bless her!

From taking care of her ex-husband (Stephenson) when he later in life became ill, to flying to Canada to engage with a Canadian dance troop just to take a plane to Cuba with them to see the Cuban dance members and Cuban ballet, Saying she was 'something!' is an understatement..

I have had the immense privilege of knowing Theresa my entire life as her daughter Susan is my Godmother. She was my dance teacher as a child and one of the most kind, vibrant, exciting, inspiring women I have ever met. She has been a great inspiration to me as I travel through this journey called life, and when I have a doubt I think "what would Theresa do?" And the answer is always the same - she would go for it! The world has lost a beautiful soul, but Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. Rest in peace Theresa.

It was my privilege to take dance lessons with Ms. Theresa. I will always cherish those memories. Her beautiful spirit will surely live on in all of her dancers.
