With heartfelt sorrow to all of you at the loss of Joan. She was a good friend to so many and I was blessed to have her in my life in high school and in our early adult years. Thinking of all of you at this time. She was so proud of the women that she and Matt raised. A testament to the woman she was, herself. She will always watch over you. Sending strength and love.

Matt, Kelsy, Karly, Kate and the entire DeMaire/McEvoy family, We are so sorry for the loss of such an amazing woman. Joanie was a large part of my childhood and I have so many amazing memories of her. I hope you find comfort in knowing how much she was loved, appreciated and how she brought a smile to everyone’s face. She treated everyone she met like a best friend and had the biggest heart. Joan, I wiish I could say this isn’t true but I was with Katelyn on that sad day of February 3 and it broke my heart not only to hear of such a beautiful warm hearted soul be taken from us to soon but also seeing Katelyn that way. You have created such everlasting bonds with your girls that it taught them to be beautiful souls just like you. You were like a second mom to me. I will cherish every memory of you. I will miss our summer cookouts sitting chatting with you and watching your beautiful contagious smile! Not to mention all the advice you have ever given me. Thank you for being you. Rest In Peace.
