My heartfelt condolences to Barbara's family. I feel fortunate to have met and worked with Barbara at Roger Williams Park Zoo for over 20 years, and been able to count her as a dear friend. She was an exemplary friend and community member. I will always cherish many wonderful memories of times spent with her. She will be truly missed.

Please accept my sympathies at this time. It was my pleasure to have Barbara as part of the NAEP team in 2013 and 2015. She was a delight to work with - always so pleasant, positive, and conscientious, and so kind to our colleagues. We have missed her in the last few years as she struggled with her health. May she rest in the arms of Jesus.

I was so sad to hear of Barbara's passing. I worked with her during the 2015 NAEP assessment session and found her to be one of the kindest, sweetest people I've ever met. May her gently soul rest in peace.
