I would like to express my sincere condolences to family of Richard Hardy. I have been gone from Rhode Island for quite some time now. However I still have memories of growing up in Huntington View congregation in Providence. Brother Hardy was one of the coolest and approachable elders . Most importantly he manifested his strong love for Jehovah . May Jehovah be your source of comfort at this time ............Jehovah 's promised paradise is just around the corner. May all of us persevere until then.

Awesome brother with such a kind, calm demeanor. You could tell he was a spiritual man as soon as he opened his mouth. A true gem.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the entire family. We are so sorry for your loss. We fondly remember brother Hardy giving the Memorial talk at our congregation in Oregon. We are also grateful for your warm hospitality when we road-tripped to Bethel when our kids were young. We are confident that Jehovah has rewarded brother Hardy for his faithful service. And we are also assured that our God Jehovah, the God of all comfort, will know just how to comfort you dear sister Hardy, and Leah, Jason and Sebastian, as well as the rest of those who mourn his loss. Much love, dear friends.

Both Charlotte and I want to extend our sincere and deepest condolence to the Hardy Family. Richard aided me into the truth and for this I am truly grateful. A fine example he was for all he came in contact with. We really appreciate the effort both Richard and Cathy made in coming to Florida to spend time with us. Now he is on another assignment for Jehovah.

Cathy, I am thinking much of you mostly by remembrances. When I first began to study the Bible, you and Richard carried my behind right down the street to the old Wadsworth KH. I learned a few things from you: shut up during the Memorial, listen to the speaker, stop coming out of the house late for the mtg, among other important things that newbies should practice!

I met Mark when he was just about 8 or 9 and joined in the fun of all that camping. I'm sure at that age he barely remembers me! I have to be proud of him now. He is a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and he has a wife and a couple of grandbabies. So wonderful. I only knew Leah until she was new at talking and said Jehovah's name for the first time. I understand that she has remained faithful as well and with a husband and 2 more grandbabies. They all will keep you very busy at this important time during which we all need compassionate support.

Richand was a great man who was always ready with a laugh and support. His Memorial talks were uplifting and special to me. I've been very upset that I was not able to see you and the family. I listen to meetings via phone and there is no hook-up at Keefe.

I am thinking of Nancy and your sister also. Having had a husband who was a twin, I know exactly how that communication thing works. I trust that you and your twin will be able to lean on each other's calm and serene manner.

Also, I want to say that (as much as you avoided talking about this, I which you the greatest happiness of being secure in the knowledge, as am I, that Richard has assumed a throne in the presence of the Great Teacher, Jesus Christ!! I love you and the kids still with fondest memories.

Dear Honored Soul, ...

We are all here today to show honor and respect to you for your faithful and true witness, for your fight to the finish…you have run the race with endurance.
You have acted wisely, O lovely one, friend of Jah, so that He may make a reply to he who taunts.
He has served Jah out of love…he did not take away his integrity.
Thank you for showing us what it truly means to live a "successful" life. Thank you
for setting for us an example to follow of true victory over this world, victory over death through hope of a resurrection. Thank you for allowing us to see…for showing us how to follow Jesus’ footsteps closely.
Loss of your presence is like a wound that runs deep w/i, but, thanks to Jah, it is not a puncture that runs so deep, that it cannot be healed over time and w/ balsam of Gilead…prayer to Jehovah…love from fellow lovers of Jah…spiritual healing from God’s own Word.
And we are confident that Jehovah has rewarded you, Brother Hardy for your faithful service.
