To all of the Newsome and Terry Family:

To the family of Thomas Newsom: My family and I extend our deepest sympathy to all of you. Thomas was a great guy...and an excellent human being. He would help anyone in need. He was one of my nephew Smiley’s best friends and a great friend to so many.
At CCRI, he always took his time to address the needs of students and never left a stone unturned. The students gravitated to him because of his personality, his helpfulness, his kindness, his knowledge, and most of all his sense of humor. He could turn a rainy day into a bright, shiny one, which everyone appreciated.
Thomas loved his children, and family very much. He would do anything for them. They were No. 1 in his life. He talked about them often, sharing so many fun stories of their lives. Indeed Thomas will be sorely missed, but we can rejoice in knowing that he will still be looking out for his family. We ask God to keep good watch over Thomas family and grant them peace during this difficult time and May God, bless Thomas sweet soul and let the perpetual light shine upon him always.
RIP Thomas...gone but never forgotten.
