Karen and family, it is hard for us to fathom that Rick is gone. He was such a great guy. I will always remember his greeting when we saw each other. "Hi Roomie". God bless and you are in our prayers.

Dear Mrs. Gladney,

Only illness prevents me from attending
the wake of your husband and children. Rick
played football for John Signore and I at the
West Barrington Junior High School in 1968.

Thirty six years later,we reunited to play
together in the R.I. Senior Softball League.
Rick was a fine boy;a pleasure to coach.
Although he was one of our smallest
players, he was the best tackler on our
team.

I extend my profound condolences
to you all, and I shall remember Rick
in my prayers.

Sincerely,

Robert J. Mc Clellan

So sad to read the passing of one of my fraternity brothers from back in the day. As I saw in the obit, Rick was one of the smartest and funniest frat brothers from back in the day. As I know other of my friends like Rick, I always note that, unlike many of us, he was five moves ahead of us on the proverbial chess board. Again, he was smart, funny, kind and just a real nice guy.

When I read the obit and saw how many companies and organizations he belonged to and helped, I was overwhelmed and, compared to my every day life, it was a just a amazing.

As always, I have started my usual seven day prayer cycle for my long time fraternity brother. May God bless you and may you rest in peace, Rick.

Dear Karen, Kristen, Kyle and Eric,

It's still very much of a shock to have heard of Rick's passing.
Despite our best efforts, we were not able to return from Iceland to pay our respects for our very close friend and advisor.
We are deeply sorry for your loss and our prayers are with all of you.
