Our sincere condolences to the Lavin family. Words from the Holy Scriptures can give you comfort and hope. Psalm 94:19 reads: “When anxieties overwhelmed me, You comforted and soothed meâ€. God loves you and cares for you. Our thoughts and prayers are that you draw closer to God......for He alone can comfort and soothe your hearts. Maggie C.

Dear Carol..We were so saddened to read of Kevin’s passing. We recall all the good times spent with you and Kevin and how he entertained us with his impressions and Irish humor. Those were fun times making wreaths to sell on Rte 38, walking our babies in Jamestown when it was truly rural, helping haul the hotdog cart, making canning tomatoes picked at the farm at Ft Getty, and so much more. Kevin was a kind and generous man and we will frequently recount our mutual adventures. There is so much more to be said, but suffice it to say that he will be with the angels as he was one of them always. With sorrow and friendship, Paul and Cynthia Levesque

Dear Mrs. Lavin and Family,
It is with great sorrow that I write this message! I am so sorry for your great loss. Mr. Lavin was one of a kind. He always went out of his way to help any of his students. He was an inspiration to all of us at Central High School as our ESL teacher. His sense of humor and kindness made these scared and out of place young men and women feel at home. Thank you for welcoming us to your home all those years ago, Mr. Lavin! May you rest in peace Mr. Lavin! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family! Love, Ana Cabral Parenteau
