Very sorry for your loss. He told me about the chemotherapy not long ago.
I worked for and worked with Bob for many years at the Pawtucket Police Department. In the 70's he was a patrolman in traffic car 17 and night detectives. Later he was Sgt, Lt, Capt and Commander. I was always impressed by his ability to quickly assess any situation and take action. Sorry nothing was mentioned about him being in the US Navy on the funeral home website.
Good sense of humor. Because he lived on Morris Avenue he used joke people by saying Morris Avenue was once a farm that his family owned.

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family. No doubt this is a very difficult time for your family. The Bible speaks of death as an enemy that God’s kingdom will eliminate. Notice the wonderful promise for the future at 1 Cor.15:26 “And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” God will remove death permanently. To learn more about this promise please visit our website: jw.org and view the comforting video; What is the Condition of the Dead?

I am truly sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort in the scripture at Acts 24:15. This is what our God Jehovah promises for us all. And we can look forward to what is written in Psalm 37:9-11 and 29.🌺
