a few words from Father Bob Beirne. I'm here in Chile, on mission for a couple of months. And I am so glad that a couple of days before leaving, I made a visit to your Mom at Atria.
She seemed up and alert that afternoon, and we had a good time together, of course talking about the wonderful days that were . . .
I'll be remembering your Mom and all of you at Mass tomorrow. It'll be a Prayer of Thanksgiving for the wonderful gift that she was for all of you- now generation after generation.
Peace,
Father Bob B.

To All My Loving Shunney Cousins
What beautiful and wonderful memories I have of Aunt Mary and how blessed I am to have had this loving woman of such great faith in my life. I have always said that everyone should have an Aunt Mary like my Aunt Mary in their life as she loved unconditionally and her strong love for her family both immediate and extended was such a joy and gift to us.
I have so many sweet memories of Aunt Mary such as taking her, Uncle Pat and my Mom and Dad to see Sr Anastasia and Sr DePazzi in Fitchburg and what delightful conversations we had on the ride; going shopping with my Mom and Aunt Mary at the Fall River Outlets; the many ST Patrick’s Day celebrations, just spending time with her and hearing the escapades she and my mom had and laughing over them, etc. I know Aunt Mary’s spirit and kindness will live in all of us - she certainly made this world a better place and it is now the journey we all need to continue.
Aunt Mary, may you find sweet rest where the angels sing and thank you for being such a beacon of joy in my life.
With love,
Joanie

The Graass Family offers our most sincere condolences to the family of Mary Crawley Shunney. We regret that we were unable to attend the services for Mary on Friday April 5th, but we trust the funeral Mass was reverent and memorable. We have the fondest of memories of Mary and the entire Shunney family. Mary was a most gracious and kind woman.
